Eva von Redecker
Marie-Skłodowska-Curie fellow

I am a philosopher and writer. I hold a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie fellowship at Verona University, where I am working on authoritarian character formation. The theoretical background of the project can be found in my article "Ownership's Shadow. In 2020, I took a break from university life and wrote a general audience book on capitalist devastation (Revolution für das Leben, S.Fischer), which is currently being translated into French and Korean. Together with Aurélie Herbelot, I have written on biases in vector-based computational language models and thought about the potentials of automated discourse analysis. Having grown up on a small farm, I prefer rural life over the metropoles, and collective households over nuclear ones.
