Tobias Schumacher joined the Chair of Human Resource Management and Intercultural Leadership at ESCP Business School Berlin in April 2016 as a PhD student and research assistant. His research primarily focuses on how and to which degree intercultural competences can be developed by using serious games. In addition, during his time at ESCP Business School Berlin, he was the project leader for developing the award winning serious games series ‘Moving Tomorrow’ aiming to equip players with the necessary skills to navigate intercultural encounters successfully and to design synergistic multicultural organizations. Before joining ESCP, Tobias Schumacher studied Industrial Engineering and Management at Technical University of Berlin and at Davidson College, USA. He gained practical work experience as a project leader of a market and technology study for the Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz Institute, as a freelancing lecturer and content editor for Blinks Labs GmbH and as a trainer for soft skills.
