Professur für Ethik in Gesundheit und Medizin an der Fakultät Gesundheitswesen (Fachhochschule)

Henriette Krug studierte ev. Theologie und Humanmedizin an der Universität Heidelberg und der Humboldt-Universität bzw. Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Sie promovierte in der Abteilung für Klinische Pharmakologie an der Charité. Nach Abschluss des Parallelstudiums absolvierte sie ab 2003 als Assistenzärztin und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin ihre Facharztausbildung in der Klinik für Neurologie an der Charité Berlin (AG Bewegungsstörungen / Tiefe Hirnstimulation) und arbeitete danach 2016-2018 als Fachärztin für Neurologie als Studienärztin im Arbeitsbereich Neuropsychiatrie an der Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie der Charité Campus Mitte. Von dort wechselte sie an die Medical School Hamburg und unterrichtet dort seitdem in verschiedenen Studiengängen Themen der Ethik in Medizin und Gesundheit, seit 2019 hat sie an der Fakultät für Gesundheitswissenschaften (Fachhochschule) die Professur für Ethik in Gesundheit und Medizin inne.

Short biography: Henriette Krug studied Protestant theology and human medicine at the University of Heidelberg and the Humboldt University and Charité University Medicine Berlin respectively. She completed her doctorate in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Charité. After completing her parallel studies, she completed her specialist training as a resident and research assistant in the Department of Neurology at Charité Berlin (Movement Disorders / Deep Brain Stimulation Unit) from 2003 and then worked as a specialist in neurology as a study doctor in the Neuropsychiatry Unit at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Charité Campus Mitte in 2016-2018. From there, she moved to the Medical School Hamburg, where she has since been teaching topics of ethics in medicine and health in various degree programmes. Since 2019, she has held the professorship for ethics in health and medicine at the Faculty of Health Sciences (University of Applied Sciences).
