Padmakshi works at the intersection of business sustainability and innovation, more specifically exploring business models, value exchanges and CSR. At Nepal Communitere, an innovation-led community hub, she focuses on designing and implementing business incubation programs for start-ups and SMEs, and capacity building of varied organisations.

Her prior engagements include, co-founder of a sustainability-led innovation consultancy - The Inceptery in Singapore, where she also did a consultancy stint on sustainability reporting, followed by a short spell in writing with Eco-Business, an online sustainability publication. During her time in England, she was a research associate at the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, managing research projects with partners from academia and industry across Europe and Asia. She holds an MPhil and PhD from the University. Her preceding educational qualification includes an MBA, followed by a marketing career in ecotourism at Dharma Adventures, Nepal.

She enjoys exploring new places, meeting people from different cultures and professional backgrounds, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
