re:publica 21 – Everything you need to know for participating!

This year's re:publica 2021 will take place from 20-22 May as an online edition themed "In the Mean Time". We are looking forward to an event with three great days packed with speakers, moderators, partners, the re:publica team and, of course, all the participants.

All information can be found on this website, and we post current announcements, tips and highlights on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Read on for a summary of the most important information.

Participate

To participate at re:publica 21, you need a ticket giving you access to the re:publica online event platform including the full programme of #rp21.
Our ticket shop is open until 22 May for last-minute orders.

live.re-publica.com: Our online event platform

The programme of #rp21 will be broadcast on live.re-publica.com. To access the online event platform, you need your ticket and the login information you received from us by email.

Once on the platform, you have the opportunity to create your own profile, exchange information with other participants and arrange virtual meetings. Here you will find the livestream, of course, and you can participate in discussions and ask questions in real time and put together your own personal programme. In our Meet-up Arena, you're invited to take part in meet-ups or plan one yourself, and you'll also find an overview of all our partners. If you have any questions, please check our FAQ or contact our helpdesk via helpdesk@re-publica.com

Programme

The entire programme with all sessions of #rp21 can be found here. All speakers can be found here, as well as a detailed timetable here. All this information is of course also available on our online event platform.

Off Stage

With the Off Stage programme, we are expanding the re:publica programme to all the places on the web where the community wants it to take place. This includes more than 60 contributions that are organised by the re:publica community on external platforms and channels and are freely accessible in addition to the paid livestream. Click here for an overview.

gather.town

In order for us to be able to "meet" each other at #rp21 this year, we have set up a space for you on Gather.Town. Discover our world created for rp21 with your personal avatar and meet other participants. The heart and starting point is the courtyard. From there, you can go to the TINCON space or play multiplayer games in the arcade room. Check out all the info and how you can be part of it here.

The re:publica 2021 aftermovie — starring: The Community!

You probably already know our wonderful recap videos, in which we look back on our events. Since we can't celebrate this year's re:publica together with you in a more "analogue" way, we would like to know more than ever how you experienced and followed along this year's #rp21 — and so we want to include your very personal #rp21 moments in our aftermovie.

If you want to take part, send us a short, no more than 2-minute video (ideally in landscape format/16:9) of yourself and show us:

  • ... who you are (please include a short introduction)
  • ... where you are streaming re:publica 21 — Berlin, Hamburg or New York? Living room, roof terrace, office or taxi? Show us the room where you are watching the programme. Are you alone or are you participating together? Have you perhaps decorated with the garland from the Black Box and put on your wristband?
  • ... your devices and re:publica 21 on your screens. Feel free to film a short snippet of the re:publica stream from your display.
  • ... your personal impressions, moments, highlights, emotions! ;-)

Send us your videos by e-mail (with WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive links) to aftermovie21@re-publica.com by 26 May 2021. We look forward to many submissions and are excited to see your #rp21moments!

We look forward to seeing you!
